I think I love that grumble in my tummy - thanks Dr. Oz!!
When I am sticking to my plan and working out like I should and eating like I should I get these little grumbles in my tummy…usually it means I am hungry - but sometimes it means I want a snack…and not necessarily because I am hungry…
I remember watching Oprah and seeing Dr. Oz and he talked about that little “I just wanna little something” feeling that a lot of us get..we are not really sure what it is…just a little nibble…candy, cookies, cake, celery….whatever just a little something. He said that is the moment when there is something happening metabolic wise and if we can resist those urges then we will see some weight loss…

So when I get that little grumble (usually at night shortly before bed) - I smile to myself knowing that something is going on inside and there is some fat burning going on…LOL Makes it easy to ignore that naggy feeling and go to bed smiling…LOL

Wow, I totally have to remember this. I usually respond to the grumble. I get it right b4 bedtime as well. This is really food for thought. Now that I know my fat is burning when there’s a grumble, then I shall resist going to the kitchen for a fix.
Great one to remember! I am having a hard time getting back on track… so I really thank you for the reminder. A grumble, huh? And I was mentally saying HUNGER PANGS. Gotta stop that. Eat something, anything. Smiles, Marge
wow! I too, have to remember this… I just started my new lifestyle on Tuesday this week, and today, has been full of tummy grumbles!! thanks for posting this!
I think I have also heard this some where else…must have read it some where lol. One of those little things you tell yourself to remember when trying to lose weight…and then you cant recall it other then it was a mental note to remember lol. Debbie
Great blog I will remember the grumble and wait. My trainer also says when you grumble it could mean thrist your body sends the same single for water and food so most time it grumbles and we think wow we had a super workout I must have burned off the previous meal already but it is just thirsty
Good to know. Its a much better way to look at that little growl
